Prayer Points: Steph is being scheduled for a kidney biopsy this afternoon
Please pray today for God to continue to grant his loving grace on Steph relieving her of her anxiousness and irritability. Let Him continue a good work in her involving healing, strength and peace. Pray for the miracle of complete restoration of her body. Please pray for friends and family to arrive home safely. Continue to pray for her children to be filled with the fruit of the Spirit that can only be explained by the Lord's blessing and also for the family and friends that are caring for the children to have strength and remain encouraged during this battle. Today is Cole's birthday! Please celebrate his 4th year with him through prayer. Eric continues to need your prayers for courage, strength, wisdom and protection. Please pray that Stephanie's recovery can continue to climb to the next level, specifically for her to move around and eat so that the feeding tube might be removed. Please pray that Stephanie's MRI shows no abnormalities. Pray that the Bone Marrow Biopsy we are still waiting on is all clear. Please pray that she will wake up comfortably today and feel at peace and be cognizant. Pray for comfort for Eric and that he can continue to keep his strength. September 3, 2008 Please pray for safe travels back and forth from Minnesota. That God will give her peace and take away fear. That the biopsy/procedures on Friday will not be painful. That the results of the biopsy and tests show the cancer has not spread.
You are in my family's prayers for sure, Stephanie. God be with you...

Krider, you're the most positive and strongest person ever! I can still see that look on your face when you mean business (and everyone knows what facial expression I'm talking about!). I know you mean business now and you WILL get through this! Know that you and your sweet little family will be thought about often and prayed for even more!
Lots of Love from our family to yours!

I remember the day that first met Stephanie Krider. It was in my Speech and Drama class at JCHS in Jefferson City MO. Here I thought I was going to meet another stereotypical cheerleader captain, who would make fun of me because I didn't have the best clothes, the best haircut, the best friends, but I could not have been more wrong. My junior year at JCHS would be different thanks to Stephanie and her ability to smile and make things better. When other classmates would pick at me for my financial short commings...or just to quite honestly make my life hell, Stephanie would not stand for it. SHe came to my defense time and time again. I am so sad to her of her situation and will do what ever I can to help her in this fight! I can do nothing less for someone who helped me with my self esteem issues and someone who made school tolerable, just because I knew she would be there. Thank you Stephanie for everything, all the rides home from you and your mother, all the kind words, and countless deeds that you did for everyone that encounterd your loving smile and spirit. You are a blessing upon anyones' life. I will pray for you and your loving family. Your boys are beautiful, as is you new baby girl. She has some big shoes to fill...but I am certain she will be nothing short of wonderful! Please pull through and beat this...you can do it girlfriend...you are amazing as always!
Much Love and countless Prayers,
Joseph D. McDonald
(your super tall friend from Mrs. Moores' Speech and Drama class at JCHS)

We are thankful for your fighting spirit, for the love Eric showers on you daily, and for the progress you have made. KNOW that we are with you in spirit. We are praying for God's love, mercy and strength to surround you. We are coming to Lee's Summit next weekend to love on Janelle and Nate, but I'm also saving some love and hugs for your babies. :) I'm praying for a great summer day when we can sit in your driveway again having lots of garage sale fun! Although we have never met your beautiful courageous family. We give our best wishes from across the miles for daily & long term recovery for your whole family, relatives & friends.
We must meet you all when we go to Lee's Summit to visit my sister Theresa Apel. We have followed Stephanie's story from day 1. Seems life is a bit unpredictable, but never lose sight of what is in store for you ahead!
In my life,
I will not try to predict events
before they have happend
or cast final judgements on situations
that are ongoing in my life.
I have learned that
at any given moment
a smile can change one's direction,
and who is to know
when a smile will come your way.
Keep smiling!!! :)
Don,Jody Alec & Leandra Rodriguez (from Colorado)
A smile has been sent your way!:)

Hi to Stephanie and her family,
I saw this link on a Tri Sigma message board, and I work in the medical field as a medical technologist, and I'm definitely praying for you. I'm glad you're at Mayo too, considering the reputation! I don't know you, but know that Sigmas are strong.
Take care, and the ladies from the south (Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC) are thinking about you and your family!
