Introducing the lovely, talented and skilled physicians from Leawood Pediatrics. Their new practice just opened last month...and RainKite was thrilled to assist them with updated photography for their new website and Facebook page.

What makes these doctors successful is their fabulous ability to not only practice medicine - but they are also kind human beings who truly connect with the kids. Honestly, that makes all the difference in the world when selecting a physician. Not matter your vocation, if you can't connect with your clients...you cannot be truly successful. And we have not doubt that Leawood Pediatrics will soon be one of the top pediatric offices in the Kansas City metro.

{perfection} | kansas city newborn photography

In our vocabulary, the word "perfect" is synonymous with "newborn." Why? Because there is nothing more perfect in this entire world than a newborn child. And no matter your personal beliefs, one cannot look at a brand new baby without being humbled by the perfection of a tiny new life.

Working with newborns is one of most favorite things to do. It is so much fun to snuggle and cuddle these little babies. And recently, we had the wonderful fortune to meet the Arokiasamy family and their new son Baby C. This little peanut was just a few days old when we captured his perfect little face.

We had such a wonderful afternoon working with "new mom" Karen. It was of of those special introductions, when you meet a new person, and think, "Wow, we could really be friends. This chick is pretty darn cool." Well, that's how we felt about Karen. She rocked! (Oh, and "new daddy" Eugene was pretty cool, too.)

Thanks again to Eugene and Karen for inviting RainKite to captures these special memories for you. We love your sweet family, and we look forward to watching sweet Baby C. grow over the coming years.

matilda jane girls | kansas city child photographer

Ok, if you've been hiding under a rock since January, you probably haven't heard about Matilda Jane's new spring collection: The House of Clouds. I have to say, that we are slightly obsessed with these adorable outfits for little girls (and moms!)  

Matilda Jane: Slightly frilly. Very whimsical. With just a touch of sass. Oh my nelly, these clothes are so fun.

To prove this fact, we recently took our two favorite Matilda Jane girls out for a quick photo session to test some light and new processing techniques. We just had to share!

Getting caught up on the blog...it's been so neglected as of late...please forgive. (Always check our facebook page to see our latest and greatest!)

Ok, back to business...A gorgeous senior session to share:

It's so refreshing to meet a person who is completely comfortable in their own skin. And it's a million times more impressive when it is a high school senior. Meet our new friend Caitlin, who is a delightful, confident young lady. We had so much fun working with her down in the Rivermarket/Westport area...although it was one of the coldest and windiest days ever!

And we absolutely loved her utilizing her two favorite things: Converse tennies and her lucky green t-shirt (that she's had since she was a toddler!)  It always makes sessions more personal when sentimental items are incorporated.

Congrats to the class of 2011!
