What can I say about these gorgeous images, other than, "Wow!" It's always such a treat to work with a confident senior - who is styled perfectly! It was a beautiful day in the City Market area when we captured Miss Jenna's senior portraits. She was such a kind, polite young woman - both beautiful on the inside and outside. And I think it showed!

Kansas City peeps: Check your mailboxes because we just had another ad drop with the YMCA!  This postcard features their new program called "The Happy Hearts" campaign.  

Last summer, we had the honor of creating some really fun images for the YMCA that have been featured in direct mail pieces, their annual report, online media and email blasts. The people photographed in the ads are actual YMCA members, volunteers and employees who live in Kansas City. So excited to share!

Many thanks to DeAnne and Mary for asking us to photograph this project. We love our YMCA friends.

As this holiday weekend comes to a close, we would be remiss if we didn't write a "thank you note" to our wonderful clients:  We are thankful for you! Each family that we work with enriches our life. Thank you for shaing your personal family story with us.

This is the fifth year that RainKite has been in business, and we have been blessed to grow at an exponential rate. You may have noticed that we haven't posted much on our blog lately...and it's not because we don't have tons of gorgeous sessions to share, but rather we don't have the spare time! Fall is our busiest season by far...and we are in the midst of wrapping up our crazy Christmas-card-design-bonanza. So stay tuned for lots of session shares in December and January.

Oh my dear sweetness....this little guy was such a peach to photograph! An absolute delight. Both he and his momma showed up ready to walk a J. Crew runway. Their wardrobe choices were phenomenal. Between the pop of orange in his tie and the gorgeous fall light - this session was perfect-o! Many thanks Thelma for driving all the way from Sedalia to meet us. Ten little fingers. Ten little toes. There is nothing as perfectly perfect as a newborn baby! Introducing Miss E...the newest member of the Boley family. The First 48 Hours are the most magical moments for a new family. We absolutely love documenting these special images for new parents.

Have you met the Royal's biggest fan? Well, we have...and it's this little guy that we like to call "Mr. Baseball!" We've known his sweet family since he was only 9 month old. And now that he's three - he is a walking sports trivia gold mine. Seriously, he knows more about baseball than an ESPN announcer. Amazing!

We had so much fun with him and his momma during his three-year session. Can't wait to see how much he grows and learns before next year.
